KEEPING YOUR CHILD SAFE

 

Children at Princeville Primary School use the Internet on a regular basis as part of their learning, through a range of resources to enhance their learning.  We want to ensure children get the most from technology as well as enjoying it, by encouraging responsible online behaviour.

In school, we use a filtering system to prevent children accessing inappropriate sites. At the beginning of every half term we have regular ‘e-safety’ activities to remind children of the importance of keeping themselves safe online.

At home or on mobile phones sometimes children can be given unsupervised access to the Internet. This can potentially allow them to access all kinds of society (both good and bad) and bring them virtually into their homes.
